Toby is a Zoology graduate from the Univeristy of Nottingham, with a specialism in entomology and ecology. He aims to spread positive ideas about insects through inviting people to interact with them at Connecting Notts workshops.

His creative endeavours are focused on event sound and lighting at venues across Nottingham. His ongoing project, the Willit Sound System, operates as a mobile sound system, drawing inspiration from classic UK and Jamaican sound system culture.
