Bilborough Arts Festival: Saturday 28th June 2025

On Saturday 28th June we attended the Bilborough Arts Festival, offering a printing workshop & insect discovery corner!

Positively Empowered Kids Festival: 22nd June 2025

On Sunday 22nd June at the Positively Empowered Kids Festival, Nottingham Castle, we hosted various creative workshops for children & young people. It was a fun, busy and exciting day!

Young Creative Awards: Wednesday 4th June 2025

We supported the Young Creative Awards event on the 4th June 2025. We got involved with installing the amazing exhibition the young creatives had contributed too & supported the front of house during the award ceremony.

Green Hustle: 31st May 2025

We had a great time on Saturday 31st May at Green Hutsle 2025! A whole day packed with print making with natural and recycled materials, chances to connect with families & young people in Nottingham and enjoy the festival.

Connecting Notts: Creative Networking: 8th March 2025

On Sat 8th March 2025 Connecting Notts hosted a Creative Networking Event at Lakeside Arts Nottingham. Over 30 young creatives gathered together to hear from a panel of midlands based creative professional, on how they navigate freelance life as a creative. It was an encouraging and inspiring afternoon, with the chance to network afterwards during food & refreshments.

International Youth Day: 10th August 2024

Connecting Notts were really pleased to join the UNESCO City of Literature on Saturday 10 August 2024 at the new Central Library to celebrate International Youth Day! Follow @nottmcityoflit to find out more about their upcoming events and activities!

We had fun with our new badge machine and will definitely to bringing it along to future events!

Positively Empowered Kids Festival: 23rd June 2024

It was a privilege and joy to be part of this year’s PEK festival on 23rd June 2024, running a creative stall for children and families. We had fun connecting with nature, experimenting with leaf rubbings and watercolour crayons; and adding speech bubbles to our youth voices wall about what makes us happy. Thank you to the amazing organisers, Jackie and Claire from Positively Empowered Kids and all those who took part!

Green Hustle: 1st June 2024

Connecting Notts had an amazing day running one of many creative activity stalls at Green Hustle at Old Market Square on 1st June 2024. Lucy B Davies and Catherine Gittens led creative opportunities to create with nature, and we had a lot of love for the Insect Discovery corner too!

Youth Partnership Lab: 18th March 2024

We held our first Youth Partnership Lab at Antenna on 18th March 2024, bringing together other Youth boards from arts organisations around the city, including representatives and students from both Nottingham Trent University and University of Nottingham for an evening of creativity and conversation about how we can all collaborate and connect to shape more opportunities for young people interested in the arts.
